Hello! I’m Sarah Philbin, a Nurse Practitioner with a decade of experience practicing in primary health care. Over the past 14 years, I’ve had the privilege of working across various facets of the healthcare field, including acute inpatient medicine and emergency care. This diverse background has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of both urgent and routine medical needs.
My primary focus over the past decade as a Nurse Practitioner has been on episodic care, where I’ve honed my skills in addressing a wide range of health concerns. This experience has equipped me with the knowledge and expertise to handle complex cases with precision and compassion.
I have extensive experience in providing high-quality virtual consultations, ensuring that my patients receive timely and effective care from the comfort of their own homes.

Prescription Renewal
Starting at $40
It's important to stay on top of prescription renewals. Let's schedule an appointment to ensure you're covered. If there are multiple needed, note there may be an added fee. Unfortunately, narcotics / controlled substances will not be renewed.

Blood Work Request
Need blood work? Our virtual blood work requisition service allows you to conveniently request lab tests from a licensed Nurse Practitioner. Following a brief virtual consultation, you will receive a lab requisition that you can take to any accredited laboratory (e.g., LifeLabs, Dynacare). You will need an additional appointment to review results if requested.

How does a virtual appointment work?
​After reviewing the list of suitable reasons for virtual care, click the "Book Now" button. You'll be directed to a secure booking site. Once your appointment is scheduled, you'll receive a confirmation email with a link to connect with the Nurse Practitioner at your selected date and time.

When will appointments be available?
​Appointment availability may vary, with some slots opening on the same day, while others can be booked several days to weeks in advance. Appointments are offered during evenings and weekends but are not available on statutory holidays.​

What if my preferred time slot isn't available?
If the time slot you were hoping to book is unavailable, please feel free to contact the Nurse Practitioner via email. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule and find a suitable appointment time. However, there may be an additional fee for an urgent visit, which will be discussed when your email is answered. Your flexibility is appreciated, and we’re committed to ensuring you receive the care you need.

Can I ask multiple questions in one appointment?
To ensure that each concern receives the attention it deserves, we kindly ask that you focus on one issue per appointment. If you have additional concerns, please book a separate appointment. This allows us to provide the best possible care for each matter.
